Willing Spring to Come
At this time of the year I usually welcome the change of season half heartily. I do enjoy the change in season, the change in the air and wardrobe but dread the allergies. This time round, being in isolation and watching the unabating bad weather from my windows I'm willing Spring to come soon.
Although I have no plans to venture outdoors any time soon I have switched wallet, metro pass holder and cosmetic bag, ready for my first day out once all this is history.
Fresh flowers are not an option for me right now so I've switched current skincare to rose scented ones and it feels like a treat. I'm trying out Jurlique for the first time and the scent is very pleasant.
With all the hand washing, hand creams have become a necessity. I've just switched to a rosewater one too.
Gardening is not an option and neither is visiting any gardens, so watching Monty Don has been a sensible alternative in the current situation. The Italian Gardens series, available on Netflix, is my favourite.

I recently picked up The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady, a journal brimming with Edith Holden's musings and drawings of the English Countryside in 1906.
How are you prepping up this Spring?
