Royal Albert 100 Years
Back in 2006 Royal Albert celebrated their 100th Anniversary. The collection commemorating such was re-released again in 2016 to include new patterns. Each beautiful pattern denotes a different decade in the past century. The range has become my favourite from the brand and hunting them down is half the fun.
I recently got my hands on the Chintz 3 piece place setting, whose quintessential British pattern dates back to the 1940s, the Poppy 3 piece place setting which dates back to the 1970s and the three tier stand which features three designs from the 1910 (Regency), 1920 (Duchess) and the 1940 (Chintz). I have a two tier Italian Blue stand which I use frequently so I know I will be using this one often and with an added tier it should also prove to be even more practical.
There are a few more teacups from the range I would like to add to my collection and perhaps also a teapot. Collecting these is like having a piece of history right in the cabinet with the added benefit of being able to use beautiful teacups on a daily basis. Can't wait for my next spot of tea!
